It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all the students to Govt. Degree College Dehar for the academic session 2026–27. On behalf of the management, teaching, and non-teaching staff, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to each one of you as you embark on a new journey of learning and growth.
Established in 2017, our college is affiliated with Sardar Patel University, Mandi, and would offer undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce.
We take pride in our dedicated and highly qualified faculty who strive continuously to create a nurturing, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating academic environment for our students.
At Govt. Degree College Dehar, we believe that education is a holistic process that goes beyond classroom teaching. We emphasize the integration of academics with co-curricular and extracurricular activities, enabling students to explore their potential, develop critical thinking, and build essential life skills. Our aim is to shape responsible, ethical, and competent individuals who can contribute meaningfully to society.
I am pleased to share that, in alignment with national educational reforms, the National Education Policy (NEP) will be implemented in a phased manner from the current academic session 2026–27. This transformative initiative will provide students with greater flexibility, multidisciplinary learning opportunities, skill development, and a more learner-centric approach to education.
